Default CDC shaker with GT500 TB?

Does anyone know if it is possible to bolt on a gt500 TB with the spacer from metcomotorsports and still retain my CDC Shaker. The shaker uses the top 2 throttle body bolts to mount on top of the engine. Will the spacer cause misalignment with the shaker?

Additionally, i am using a JLT with the shaker right now. Will the spacer cause fitment issues with the JLT?

Anyone running a similar set up....please stand up =). I don't want to ditch my shaker. I like the look and plus there is a large hole in my hood now that would look goofy if the shaker wasn't sticking out of it. Thanks.

In theory I would say it wouldn't work without custom fabrication to make it work.

I can think of a way to make it work just thinking about it, but again, it won't just bolt up and work.

I mean you can't even use the BBK TB with the Shaker.

Default Shaker

forgive me for being ignorant on the subject, but for my own knowledge (possibly looking into getting one), does the shaker hood actually give you any gains in hp or tq? JW...thanks :-)

Nah not really, I mean there was a test before and someone said he was able to tell a 30degree difference in the air coming in. But how that will equate to anything no one could really tell.

So with that I would say it's pretty much for looks. Now the Saleen Shakercharger is another story...

I agree with Boozshey.

When it's not a bolt on thing, our guess is just as good than the next guy...
Good luck though.
