Default Error codes after cam change, anyone else

Hey guys, you may have seen my earlier thread about getting my FRPP Hot Rod cams in. However, Im still getting the check engine light with codes P0340 and 344. I think it has to do with the cam sensor/phaser. My local guy who did the install is checking it out. Did anyone else get these error codes ? I found a TSB about it but it was for the alternator. Dont think thats the case here. Thanks for any help

Just a heads up i dont know if you ever fixed your cam phasers to begin with or not with the tsb that was out. the 05s had bad phasers in them and tend to cause more problems than the current ones. If he cant figure out the problem it might be something worth looking into replacing with the new phasers and the new harness i think it is.

i didn't get any codes when i took
mine out for a test drive yesterday

if i were you, i would pull the CMP
sensor (passenger side), clean it
up and reinstall it. also check the wiring
on the connectors, to make sure nothing
is obviously wrong

+1 to what Hameron said. The code shows it is electrical it wouldn't make sense for your phasers to be the problem because they were fine before(I assume). Check out the link it shows symptoms, causes, and solutions for that specific code.

Good Luck.
