Default Race tune doesn't feel the same.

My car was idling a little rough and would almost stall when cruising in neutral. I cleaned the TB and the car is running fine with the 91 tq tune. I loaded the 91 race tune and it does it feel like it should. It feels a lot like the tq tune. The throttle response is not there anymore. Should I do the old disconnect the battery for 15-20 min trick? And then re-load the tune?

Did you spray down the MAF sensor? If this is dirty, it is not giving the correct info and will throw everything off. Especially effects the idle

I cleaned MAF sensor about a month ago with computer/electronic cleaner. Ever since I cleaned the TB, the car has been idling fine. The Tq tune runs fine.

Did you try the throttle reset procedure, turn on the key, wait for the bells to quit, push it to the floor, then let it back up slowly. Turn off the key for 10 sec. and then start. I also loaded my throttle by installing a washer for a stop to take the deadplay out. Now I breathe in it and it jumps 200 rpms, very quick and responsive.

The car did seem more responsive this morning, but I will try the throttle reset.

I reset my throttle almost everytime I drive it. Along with the deadplay gone, it is damn touchy and PERFECT!

I did the throttle reset with the gas peddle. Car seems to be back to normal.
