Exhaust question
 
Ok i got the Mac exhaust i really like it but it not what im looking for. Is there any way to make them more raspy with mabe a LT headers and a X pipe? if not what exhaust will get me that race car raspy sound.

does any one live in texas? can you pass inspection with long tube header i live in the odessa/misland area.

Well, not sure what your set up sounds like, but I have just the O/R H pipe in mine with the stock mufflers. It has a real raspy sound to it. Youtube it and see what it sounds like bro.

Brenspeed has a lot of video clips of different exhaust set ups and you can watch them under hard acceleration as well as idle. Just search the internet for clips of exhaust until you find something you like. it'll probably sound a little different in person though. S

BBK long tubes with catted x pipe. I also have the mac mufflers and it has that raspy race car sound when you get on it. When your easy on the gas it still has that muscle car rumble to it.

Can t get much more raspy than this...I am the opposite i want a deeper throater sound with my x ...if thats possible?...wondering if either stingers or boomtubes would be the way to go...?

Corsa Sport Mufflers tend to have a raspy note to them.

Headers and a off-road x-pipe will def help as well....It gave my bullitt a crisper note, and I still have the stock mufflers on.

any one got the Kooks header wwith the high flow X pipe and mac exhaust .. will this give you a raspy sound?
