Default front sway bar delete opinions

Please, anyone with this mod chime in. My stang is a daily driver that's being built to go to the drag strip, on weekends. Although my daily commute has turns, i'm not a corner carver by any means. Will this mod affect the car too much to be a daily driver? Thanks for your help.

you should be fine. You might notice a slight difference in DD but i doubt it. I have had my front sway off for well over a year

Why on earth would you remove it? Weight savings? Trivial
Weight transfer? Get d-specs and set them accordingly for drag racing.
I just knoced off a 1.74 60 ft time this weekend with the front sway bar firmly attached.

It also deletes the radiator support so you drop around 20-25 lbs off the front end. That is worth it for a mod that costs $150ish.

I might be doing this to my DD soon as well. No first hand accounts but from what I have read you will see little to no difference in normal driving. Start pushing it and I am sure you will see a difference.

It takes about 45 mins to install or switch back to stock, so I will probably play around with it. Worst case it ends up being a track only mod. Not bad for $150.

Normally removing the sway bar helps in weight transfer but I dont think that is a problem with the stock set up. At the track most look to be at full extension even with the sway bar. I would do it for only the weight savings.

Some people can pull 1.6 60' with 100% stock suspension so it isnt necessary, but it cant hurt.
