Default NEED HELP - Not running right

I disconnected (just flipped the grey levers) the PCM connectors to get the code on the PCM for my Pro-Cal Tool, but did not totally remove the connectors. Then I thought I better check to see if the battery needed to be disconnected ( I hadn't disconnected it) . Low and behold I should have. I flipped back the levers to the connectors and now the car is not running right. Is this correctable with disconnecting the battery for a while? Or did I royally F something up?

Thanks in advance!

Man I am a bit confused about what your talking about here, but in my experience if you disconnect the ground wire on the battery for 15-20 the computer should reset itself.
It might act a bit funny for a bit because it is re-learning but your should be fine.

i would disconnect the negative battery
terminal, reseat the pcm connectors,
hook the battery back up, cross your
fingers, start the car and see how she runs....

I think it's all in your head. Whenever you disconnect an electrical sensor, the manual will tell you to disconnect the battery. They are mostly being over cautious.

Well, it's not in my head and after disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 3 plus hours, and following the new battery procedure in the manual, it's still not right. Sounds/feels like it's not firing on all cylinders. Also, I have a check engine light. Any more ideas are greatly appreciated. It'll never make it to my dealer as they are 30 miles away. I'll have to go to a local dealer.

lol hammeron i always think you're writing poetry to answer peoples' questions/problems. the spacing makes it look almost like haiku.

"battery problems
reconnect the terminals
you are good to go"

or a sonnet or something...hahaha

I don't understand why the OP had to disconnect ANYTHING to get the PCM code. Isn't that legible on the outside of the housing? Or am I thinking of something else?

someone else said something similar
awhile back......maybe i'll try making my sentances
run out a little further to the right, kinda like this......

on a side note, the only other time i've heard the
words haiku and sonnet at the same time, was in
one of steven hawking's videos.....

hey nuke, sometimes FRPP has you look
at the label on the side of the PCM, which
you can only see if you pull the PCM out

i had to do it for my pro cal, also
