it's very minimal but keep in mind, i'm
running an email tune. i think with a
dyno tune, it would be virtually non
existent

I don't mean to sound negative but after looking at chart power curve I would not go with those cams running a s/c imo for myself if thats the norm after install, the sound is nice but I will not take that power curve hit on the rwtq for them go is more important to me than sound.

Now with that being said dynos can vary in cal even in a 6 month span and even how the car strapped down. I would need to see other dynos within a shorter span (before & after) and with different tuners to see if they are inline with your decrease in the power curve. The other thing when people post dyno of course its just a rough gauge )imo and can vary 20-40 rwhp either way so I don't take dyno posted serious on forums but I do like to see the dyno charts as a rough tool. The true test of course is the 1/4 et and look at the 60'.

But thanks for posting it was interesting seeing one of the first dyno chart before and after with those cams running a s/c.

Sidenote

Even if you dyno in Feb per weather dynos auto adjust the rwhp & rwtq numbers per weather temp.

your right TJ every car is different. Hammeron might go get his stuff tuned and might not loose any torque. There is just so many different variables. The reason I chose these cams is because I wanted a lopey idle. I didn't really care much about power since I was making plenty with my whipple. But if someone is more into the performance side of things then I would say not to go with them and wait for something better. But remember this is on a s/c car. If you were going to stay n/a then I would definitely recomend these cams.

i haven't been back to the dyno since
installing these cams, but with my
newly installed (and slightly adjusted)
brenspeed tune), i am thrilled with the
way the car runs and sounds.

regarding the boost, i did multiple WOT
runs today and i do believe we may have
lost .4 to .5 lb's (max). i could see my
boost gauge tip just over 10, during WOT
runs.

i agree with mustanglouie, if you are looking
for max performance, go with blower cams....
So you got a canned tune from brenspeed with the cams? Ballz!

i purchased an email tune from brenspeed
last week, just to have something close
for driving around. i didn't want to drive
very far (to a dyno tune), without a tune
that got me in the ballpark.

i did have to tweak the tune with my xcal2, but
it's very close right now.

imo, these cams are for the individual
who already has over 400rwhp and just
wants to add a little excitement to the
exhaust note.

those of us who hear these cams and get
that special feeling inside, are the ones
who will have them in the end
