Has Ford acknowledged the radio/amp/dead battery issue yet? My 06' GT battery goes dead after 2-3 days if I don't turn off the radio. Want to take it to dealer for fix, but they had never heard of the issue on last visit and only agreed to replace battery after 4 days in a rental at their expense. Don't want to go through that again if no TSB....any feedback?

I think there is a tsb on it. Do a Google search on tsbs for the Mustang.

There is definitely an issue with that. It has been discussed here before...

and if Ford wont fess up to a common problem (try the search feature) I guess you just have to remember to power down the stereo after every drive....eventually it will be habit (like brushing teeth or shaving etc)

I have experienced the same problem, but it just went away.... go figure

I replaced my battery with an optima red top after it died sitting in the garage for 4 days. No more worries......
