Cai/Tune Also on the way!
Just ordered the C&L Street Intake and X-cal 3 from Bama and can't wait to see how it runs. I spent all summer saving for the Whipple or Kenne Bell (Still hadn't made my mind up), but finally decided it was best to save the money since I'm about to turn 21 and already have enough bills. Figured the Cai/tune combo would hold me over for awhile. It will be the first actual performance mod I've done since the McLeod and MGW just make life better not faster .

First off sorry I go to USF so BOOO!! Rutgers (j/k), but anyways I went with the 87 Perf. and then the 93 Perf and 93 Torque tunes. I'm not sure which I will be using more often as far as the torq or perf. as there has been a lot of different opinions on the subject throughout the threads, but I more than likely will use the Torque tune as I do more driving in the lower RPM ranges being that I live in the city. I get the feeling from reading others experiences though that I will be happy with either.

I was about to get the race tune as well, but I read on site that the race was not really good for daily driving (makes sense) and I didn't think it was worth it over the perf. since I don't make it to the track that often. If I did I would definitely have gotten the race tune.

Be sure to do a last minute, aggressive drive before doing the install for comparison. Be sure also to wear loose fitting pants AFTER the install because the difference will give you a hell of a woody...
Be sure to tank up with higher octane prior to the install, also.
