Default Lessons learned from Whipple install

Hey guys I am lokking forward to installing my Whipple HO on my 05 GT. I would like to gather any lessons learned from you guys who have installed this already. Anything will help, I have been trying to gather information over the last few months however, I feel it would be better to just ask.

Clean the engine real good before hand. Go slow installing the gt500 fuel pumps. There's no fast way to get them through that hole. You have to work your way around the pumps, pushing the convoluted hoses inward as it goes down. Be careful that you don't knock off the little rubber feet from the pump basket. I did that and had to remove it, then fish out the feet with a long flat blade screw driver.

when you set the blower down on top of the intake manifold, you have to kinda hook it to get it to drop down. In doing so you could damage the gasket. I'd recommend doing a dry run without the gasket.

Read the manual several times before you begin, make sure you've got all the tools you need in advance, and take your time - don't rush. Beyond that, installation is fairly straightforward and simple. Having a second person to help with the install is also nice, both for a second set of hands and for conversation.
