Ya on a cold start they are pretty loud, but after a minute or so the tone really mellows out.

Side exhaust would be awesome. Not sure if I could do side exhaust legally here in CA. Don't side exhaust affect the emissions because you are using L/T?

I have the stock H-pipe and stock manifolds on right now with CATs and all! The mufflers are on either side of the DS- I dont think it is illegal in CA

You are the second person I know that has modified their magnpacks. On another board someone made them a midmuffler system. He already had SLPs, he had some one splice in the magnapacks.

this is the best I have looking from the back toward the front and some side pics of the exit.....you can see the position of the magnapacks!

sound before S/C
dont mind my bro talking in the background

sound after S/C -camera mic sorry

poor representation I know but the whipple whine is almost non existent cause of the side exhaust being so loud. I might get shorties (equal length) to smooth out the sound on decel or when coasting in neutral after a WOT run or blipping the throttle when just having fun and setting off car alarms...
