There are two cooling fan relays.
One for low speed and one for high speed.
And they are not inside the car.
They are under the hood in the BEC.
And the pin numbering changed at one point
between the 05 stangs and the 08 stangs.

I have mine on the Low speed, Although I have a Deep cycle blue top optima, also incorporated with my electric water pump I don't even need the car running to cool my car. i didn't find necessary for me use the high speed.

Deep cycle as the starting battery?
Wont that prematurally kill it from the high starting amperage draw.
Deep cucle only means it can be slowly deep cycled without damage.
I would think using it as a starting battery would eventually warp
the internal plates and kill a cell or two.
