Default GT500 brakes

I was browsing Brenspeed site and saw GT500 brake set they sell. I know Saleen sells a set of brakes but its for 20' wheels only ( am I right? ). What about GT500 - which size wheels will it need? Also is it worth upgrading the brakes? What perfomance advantage would I get?

usually you upgrade brakes when you add some FI.. about the size, i'm not sure but aren't the GT500 wheels 18"? the saleen brakes are 14" in size and i've heard of them only fitting 20+" wheels

The GT500 brakes are four piston Brembo's. Only a few 18 inch wheels will fit them, 20's are the norm. You can do a search and find the exact numbers on the backspacing required to fit these calipers. These brakes work so much better than the stock GT calipers, but if you aren't pushing 450+ rear wheel horsepower I would suggest just getting some Hawk brake pads and steel braided brake lines. I tried that setup too, and it works well, but the Brembo's are even better.
