How much rwhp on pump gas? New Block
So I just made the big purchase to get my stang to higher hp levels without blowing something. I went with the FRPP Aluminator with all the supporting mods.
Dual GT500 fuel pumps
New upgraded oil pump
Stage 3 clutch
Alum DS
Smaller pully
60 lbs fuel injectors
and many other little things
JPC racing in MD will be the ones doing the install. They told me that when they're done I could see crazy rwhp up to 650 rwhp if I pushed my blower to the max. But he only wants to tune it to around 500 rwhp if I'm going to be using pump gas. My question is can't I push it to at least 550 and be safe on pump gas? I mean there are guys at 550 on the stock lower end. Is this guy just being really conservative?

Whoa you got the aluminator? Nice choice, must of set you back. Well i personally wouldnt go more than 16ibs on pump gas but i live in so cal and 91 is the highest you can get. 100 octane some places but its rare. I would ask your tuner to tune it about 550rwhp. That should be plenty for the street and then some.

As blacks197 said, the general rule a tuner likes to follow is 16lbs max on pump gas. There isnt a rwhp limit they really should follow. Im Hoping im over 600rwhp on 93 octane in texas heat after i get my car tuned on my new cams next week.
