The point I was trying to make earlier on the thread is the fact that a blower set-up is ok for the street (damm I had one for over a year), however since my car will not be driven on the street for more than 2000 miles a year I decided to go TT, the first order was a single 76mm but I changed the order and I don't regreat that. I had a little KB2.4 before and I ran a 6.9 on 1/8 banging gears on the 5 Speed trans. Now is making 150 more rwhp and is with a built automatic, for of you that probably don't know an Automatic will rob a lot more rwhp than a stick.

Another reason why I went TT is because I only took 1K out of my pocket after I sold the blower, upgraded HE, Ice Box, Long Tube Headers, 8 Rib set-up, Tensioner, set of pullies.

The car has totally no traction on street tires, the power blows the tires right away even on the street tune.

I wasn't knocking your set up at all. I was just trying to make a point that there are stangs out there with S/Cers making huge numbers on the track.

That leads to the best thing about turbo's, a boost controller

That way you can run 4psi in 1rst 8 psi in second, and 12psi in 3rd and 4rth.

Wish I could that with my twin screw.

And this proves what? Turbos are the f/i of choice in most production vehicles for a reason. That car you're talking about is a mystery to most because of the coin thrown at it by that shop to be "the fastest 3v". The US government is another proponent for throwing the proverbial dollar at each and every problem... That being said the f1 centri is a beast, but unless you plan on a track only ride there are options. One is a turbo because of it's abiliaty to produce boost at a faster rate with current designs, and the ability to swap turbos easily for different applications.

Could you enlighten those of us that don't know the answer? My guess would be cost. The little turbos in most of these cars are cheap compared to any supercharger head unit.

Glad to hear it. How have the turbo's been holding up in street driving?

Maybe you should change your whipple and run a Procharger + juice...lol

Dammit! I got sucked into an old post.

So what happened to the track numbers?
