Get the mid pipes with hiflows or have the hi-flows installed. It will be louder than stock and almost as loud as an o/r set-up. Hi flows get rid of the unburnt fuel smell, give the car a deeper tone than O/R and you will gain back low end tq that you typically loose with an o/r midpipe.

Fair enough!
I was actually going to write the opposite, and say how much I dislike the sound of an X-pipe on our cars. Personal opinion, of course.

not sure ive heard a 3 valve mustang with an o/r x-pipe. my 2 valve sounds so good without cats so imagine a 3 valve would too.

Nope. 3v sounds nowhere near as good as 2v. Catless is even worse.

WarMachine, long time no see! I see we still have similar tastes in sound.

Did you switch back to stock mufflers, what's going on there?

Yeah, I am running the stockers with my catted Bassani X-pipe. I love it. No drone, but it can definitely make some noise when I want it to. I'm going to make a new video sometime in the next two weeks.

Trying to sell my Bassani mufflers on the classifieds.

Seriously, get out of my head!
I'm thinking about pulling all my Bassani and selling it. I think I'm going to start over with the sound.
