Whipple + FRPP Cams - Dyno Before & After
#13
guru, it was a dyno jet....sorry i should
have stated that originally....
mustanglouie, i know exactly what you are
referring to and to be honest, the minor idle issues
don't even bother me. could it be a little
better? sure.
let me know, if it gets to the point you are completely
happy with the idle and low rpms.

this is great information. if i had A LOT of money to spend on my car, i would whipple or Saleen SC the car and throw on the FRPP cams.
Ham, how quickly did you hit your peak torque number? Please try to get the dyno sheet up if you can, and a video!

hey goldenglory, you know what? if these cams had
been out when i first bought my car, i may not have
gone FI, i may have just stayed NA and went with
basic bolt ons...
i don't have the sheet with me, but i'll look at it
when i get home later and will answer that question
i think i may be able to post it tomorrow, i need to
fax it to a friend, who might be able to convert it to .jpg

goldenglory, basically the torque reaches
it's peak at about 2500 rpms. the graph will
demonstrate much better what is actually
happening....hopefully tomorrow.....
blue, yep, looks like the cam is in and spinning
like it should be lol.... and i have essentially
a completely stock exhaust system...
jmose77, yes brent and crew did a fine job imo.
putting the car in nuetral and coasting to a stop,
has never been more enjoyable.....i keep the windows
down, so i can hear the sweet rumble....

well as far as being a blast, it's really very much
the same as before, the major difference now is
the sound
the future may hold a high flow catted H pipe, i
just haven't made up my mind yet
