Yes he could. I had my rear o2's turned off when I got my tuner with the s/c. Have been running this way for a few months now. Still with stock catted mid pipe.

O/R catted X, about 2 RWHP (?)

Both, but get the CAI/Tune first. It will bring alot bigger smile to your face than an x pipe.

i would say with 1290% CAI and tune, that was my first mod and holy $hit that was the best money i ever spent.
