Best auto fluid

Well, I've spent some time searching for it, but I'm not having any luck. What's the best auto transmission fluid to put in our cars? I was thinking RP. Also, is a fluid cooler a good idea? I drive my car about 100 miles a week. Thanks.

I'm running Amsoil, no problems. Redline makes a Mercon V compatible fluid too. Those are the 2 I'd recommend.

I spent over 3grand on my tranny and use Pepboys's or autozone's Mercon V. Nothing special no problems here. Tony who built the tranny said that was perfectly fine.
