Default Lost some boost somehow

A while back I put a smaller pulley on my Saleen blower and had 9.5 lbs of boost. That lasted about a week. Ever since I can only get about 8 lbs. Anyone know why?

Leak in intake piping, belt slip, did you add headers?

No headers. If the belt slipped would I hear it?

What size belt and blower pulley are you running and what idler pulley do you have installed?

3.4 pulley. My idler pulley makes a whining noise.

If all your pulleys are the stock ones, you might benefit from a 100mm idler pulley or 90mm tensioner pulley. I'm not sure if you can run either of these with the saleen belt routing though.

wally i'm thinking it's either something
to do with the boost actuator or maybe
a vacuum leak.

if you had a vacuum/boost gauge, we could rule
the latter out (you'd be able to see something
is different).

i assume your running a 6 rib belt setup. i am betting belt slippage to...get the 8 rib kit and I would bet problem be solved with new belt. how many miles is on that belt at this point
