Guessing built block? lol nice #'s! I'd like to see the mods and hear that thing at idle and at WOT

LOL...NOPE Vic and I have had this discussion several times, and how very very strongly I feel about having a built block making this power on "flimsily" stock rods...no matter how "safe" the tune is...its all about cylinder pressure at this point, even if timing is very minimal and A/F is very Conservative the amount of cylinder pressure the rods see at 500+ hp is less than ideal,its like having a tennis ball on top of a toothpick and now replacing it with a cinder block.... can a car live at this level and are other people doing it YES... is it the best idea...NOPE..LOL...

he will be building one and then its more boost!!!!!!!!!!!! right Vic????

i cant really see the mufflers from the video but could be boomtubes out back or are those flowtech?

I think they were flowtech and now they are the FRPP ones ....I could be wrong but ill see then tomorrow..

get the boost reading, is it through the
obdII port?

There is a 5V MAP sensor with the dyno software so its directly from a vac/boost source off of the car right to the dyno

NP, I have to say I have done a TON of forced induction cars weather it be centrifugal,turbo, roots or screw style and the Whipples have been very impresive on the S-197 cars

I know i need that short block ! I will be putting the car away in another month or so and then hopefully(available funds) have Bill work on it over the winter.. The exhaust is ...Dynatech LT's ,catted X, Ford Racing Mufflers(stingers)
