You need two things:

A class in eglish grammer.

A mechanic who specializes in S197s. Not your dad, bless his heart for trying.

Crank shaft movng back and forth 1/3" really?

This sounds like a joke.

If the crankshaft was moving around literally 1/3", I wouldnt even bother messing with that engine any further. To have that much slop means every journal in that block is pretty much destroyed. Get another engine. I know its expensive, but it seems as though you are throwing cash into a paper shredder at this point.

Default Problem almost solve !

The Crankshaft was moving because the end where it holds against the engine was push in , meaning the metals or bearings where bad but the block is intact, so i just replace the crankshaft that i got for only $100 like new with only 200 miles on it and that was solve ( It was loosing oil pressure affecting the VVT's function)

Today July 21, I took out the heads (the camshafts are bad as well no so bad but not as they should be (also loosing oil pressure and affecting the vvt's function)

This engine was obviously run with no oil or at some point the oil pump stop working properly ,

So I swap the heads with the ones from the 5.4 , and yes they are the same , (this was an engine on a 2008 F150 5.4, engine was remove with 50,000 miles and it looks like new inside, so using heads with camshaft and vvt's from this engine.

By the time i'm done , i say tomorrow, this engine will be completely like new , and i can ensure so because I had done the entire job myself.

Sorry for the Grammar I did took lots of classes but English is not my first language, and yes my dad is a Great Mechanic, just that this s197 Modular Engines are a pain when it comes to oil pressure !!!

Well I spelled English incorrectly so I shouldn't talk either I guess.

I hope your problems are fixed but I am not optimistic.

Default Good News ! Problem Solve

The horse is back to live,

The problem was on the camshafts , they where bad on the seats so it was loosing oil pressure, meaning the VVt's wont work as they should and they will give codes p0340 and p0112 as over retarded , because the lack of oil pressure on low RPM's keep then on retarded position,

I took me a wile but I did it myself, I save a total of $4500 Dollars and Only spend $1000, as I did the job AT MY FATHERS SHOP,

I drove the car today From Miami to Ft Lauderdale and no problems with it,

I'm a happy guy after 2 months of no knowing what was wrong, My next move was to get a new engine !!

Thank you all and now after taking my engine apart over 6 times , I can say I'm an expert on s197's.

You have to check a lot of things before replacing a cam phaser. I found below guide helpful for this:
