Default Do dealerships install aftermarket parts?

Kind of a dumb question I suppose.

I just got my Boom Tubes and I dont have the time or patience to really install them myself..would I be able to just drop my car off at the dealership where I get my Mustang serviced and just have them install it for me?

Or do they not deal with anything thats not a Ford related part?

Thanks.

Should only take about 30 mins with a few basic hand tools, dont even have to jack the car up. You might do well to take it to an exhaust shop, they just bolt in and it wouldnt take them long.

yah, exhaust shop for sure. it'd be cheaper and they'd probably do better work. Like Shard said though, you can do it in 30min or less. Its very straight forward

A muffler shop would be your best bet...and most likely do the best job.

They did my Borla's for me.

You'll pay more for labor from a dealership than you will from somewhere else.. not to mention - I don't trust dealerships as much as I'd like to. Not after all the bad luck all my friends and family have had with them (and we're talking REALLY bad luck). + if anything goes wrong, you'll end up biting it because who's going to take the blame for something screwed up? Not the dealership, unless you've got more money to pay them - in which case "they'll look into it" like they did with my best friend's car after half-assing his ball joints and tearing them up to hell worse than before he got there.

Just sharing my experiences. Don't take it to a dealership or all things for anything if you can seriously avoid it.

dont take it to the dealer. they charge max cost for any work done...and its average work at best.

The best thing to do would be to have a specialty shop do the work. they are usually cheaper than the dealer and they do GREAT work.

Axles backs are easy to get on, BUT can take a while to get perfectly lined up. 30 mins tops to slap them on if you don't care about perfect alignment. It can takes HOURS to get them perfect.
