Default Why am I fouling plugs at 7000 miles?

Well some of you may have read my post in drive train performance about spark blow out. If not here is the post in a nutshell... Last week I picked up my buddy at the airport in Philly. It is about an hour and a half drive from Dover, which is where I am stationed. I filled up with 93 octane before the trip and I made him put gas on the way back...pretty sneaky huh. The station only had 92 so I put m104 octane boost with the tank and went off on out merry way. The next day I wanted to top off the tank for my trip to Dc. I got on the highway and noticed a miss when accelerating under load... I knew it was the plugs because it did this to me in feb. I drove to dc and the miss got worse and I was fearing a stuck valve. The symptoms started to affect idle when I arrived to dc. I pulled the plugs cleaned em up, and stuck em back in. The idle problem went away but still missed badly when accelerating under load. I called my tuner back in San Antonio and they were closed so I went ahead and ordered plugs. Installed them and problem fixed. My question is... Why am I fouling plugs at 7k when the car is only driven to dc and back (2.5 hour trip each way) and occasionally I will go play around but never raced. I would say once a month I will go and light up the tires to make sure I have no cob webs growing in there. Other than that I am a very conservative driver. My set up is in my sig. I am just curious as to why they go this quick...Please shed some light
Thanks guys

I would say your problem is the fact that you're using octane boost.... I've been told to avoid that stuff like the plague

Octane boost is 'voodoo juice' and will foul the plugs quickly.

The engine is running to rich. Have the dyno shop retune it. How much boost are you running?

Stop the Octane Boost and I bet your plug problems will stop as well. You may have to replace plugs as the Booster may have ruined some.

Here is what I would do. Run tank down to almost empty. Replace plugs. Fill with fresh 93 octane and add a can of Seafoam. Bet all your issues will be gone.

I'm not so sure that the octane boost is the only problem here. He didn't say he used it every fill up just that one time. That alone wouldn't cause any foul problems from the plugs. Sounds more like the tune is at fault. I'd say your running to rich and is causing your spark problems. I'd go back to the tuner and tell him your problem.

Sorry for the off-topic question but, how was your experience with Murillo? Did you consider anyone like Lethal?

I will post a pic of the plugs within the next couple of days as I have to find the camera. I just ordered a gapper (50 freaking bucks) and Ill re gap the plugs as they were .45 when they should be .32-.35 and try that out. I still have a bit of a miss above 4 k when accelerating hard with boost. I put the sc in bypass to make sure it is not detonation until I regap the plugs and run this tank out. Thanks guys for the info. Oh Murillo was great to work with. I was in the shop day in and out about the time he was in the Sema show with starcar 2. Very professional guys and knowledgeable. I didnt know of any other tuners down there as I was pressed to get the car in the shop asap due to slapping a valve and I was only down there for 6 weeks for extra training.
