Default Any last minute tips on Whipple HO self installation???

I have a plan!

Going to start the installation Monday after work and will be working on it all week, after work, from probably 2-5 or 3-6pm. I don’t have any travel next week, or plans next weekend, so if I need to, I’ll finish it up that Saturday. That will give me time to send out the CPU and get it back.

I've got the Thump RRR tensioner, so I won't have to do anything to the stock one. Any hints would be helpful. I've read through the manual 3 or 4 times, it all looks pretty straight forward, but I know that will change once I dig into it. I'm not having much luck rounding up any help, so I am kind of on my own. I'll get someone to help me lift it into place because I've got a really bad back.

Wish me luck!

well that's great news CobraO

for you, you will want to line the fenders
and the radiator cover with lots of towels,
this way you can lean over and rest your
chest on them, lessening the strain on your
back (there's a lot of leaning over into the bay).

you're gonna do fine.....all i ask, is that you take
less then 8 days.....i don't want my record broken!

good luck and have fun.....

Wish I had a way to set up a time lapse camera pointing into the engine bay, taking a picture every 5-10 minutes, that would be pretty cool to watch.

Thanks for the advise and the luck.

It took me 2 days to install my KB... As long as you read the instructions you'll be fine... first thing... Take the front bumper off... Just have that in mind... good luck and Enjoy getting blown every time you drive that car!
