Default I have a bizarre clicking sound

When I start the engine, there is a bizarre clicking sound coming from the steering column. It lasts for about five seconds then quits. Just started today. Any chance it's related to the airbag somehow?

I was planning on taking it into the dealership anyway this week. On the drivers side, the felt has come loose from underneath the window trim over the door. Car is still under warranty so they can take the time and effort to fix that.

Good news is I got up to Bowling Green, KY today for the NMRA finals. Lots of nice Mustangs on static display and lots of fast Mustangs going down the track. Beautiful fall day in the Bluegrass State.

Here in the last few days I've been noticing something in that area too. Its while I"m driving, I can hear a sound that sounds like a plastic bag rustling in the wind, or gravel rolling around. Its pretty faint, you have to have the music down to hear it. It just started. The car is 2 years old. Its a very rapid sound. May be the same as yours?

OK, it's a solenoid under the dash that controls the A/C. They had to order the part. They also had to order the felt for the window trim.

I didn't say anything when I took it, but I have a JLT setup with a Bama tune. I left it alone before dropping it off at the dealer.

When I picked it up today, the service ticket says that they did a RCM reprogram. $16.62 charge. I re-loaded the tune before I left the dealership.

Nothing was said about it by the service guy so I'm hoping everything will be under warranty and I won't run into any problems. I might throw it back to stock though before taking it back in to to get the parts installed.

I'm not crazy about taking any static from them on the warranty thing, so probably better safe than sorry.
