Ahhh, I remember those days. I thought I was moving along quickly when I got te actual unit in place, then I discovered the intercooler, the fuel pumps, and all of the wiring. You still have a ways to go, but don't worry, you WILL get there. It's good that you went with the Thump_rrr from the get go. Better than throwing a belt. (Ask me how I know, lol.)

You already put the belt on, but you didn't install the small BLACK bracket for the extra adjustable pulley that Whipple gives you. You know the bracket to the right of the alternator and under the coolant neck.....Do you know what I am talking about?

BTW: Did you buy it Brand New from Whipple?

^^^ I think the 07+ is different. I don't have that bracket, and with this crossover, I don't know where it would even go. I bought it brand new from Ford Racing and have been assured from Whipple that this kit will work on the 08.

The belt seems pretty tight, and I have the adjustable small pulley as low as it will go. I don't know where that other piece would go, but I was concerned about it when I was putting it together.

I know I have a long way to go, but it is going better than I thought it would.

Edit: I found the bracket you are talking about. I was looking for something much bigger, but I have it. I looked and I'll be able to get it on there without much problem. Might have to take the belt off the SC to get to it, but no big deal.

Thanks, good catch!

BTW: My car is a 2005 GT, but the Whipple is for the 2007+..... I had to just change the cooling system over
