wow Bassani do sound great i listened a ton of clips cant complain about one but there are so many to chose from from the looks of it and i would like a catback because from what i hear later with other mods which i do plan to get it is better for power and the car. Can anyone give me a more exact better explanation?

Just go with the Ford GTA's. I love mine and are legal in CA.
I lived in Long Beach for 3 years and was glad to get out of there.

That sucks for you CA guys. Shame they have to be such ***** about it.

The solution is to come to Tx. We have enough truck guys here with loud exhausts to back you up.

i think it's illegal to have an exhaust above 92 decibels but what cop is really going to measure the sound level. "Go for broke and just watch out for cops" is my opinion. but yeah you need factory CATS in the state of CA for it to be legal for smog but it's not that had to change out the cats if you go long tube headers.

How about a silencer for the exhaust, then it should be legal right.

There are no long tubes on the market that are legal in California for our cars. If you want headers, your only options are JBA or BBK shortys. Also, with the random roadside smog checks around here, it isn't a very good idea. Funny thing about those "random" smog checks - they're anything BUT random! If they see a Mustang come rumbling up with loud exhaust they will stop you for sure.

Like others have said, it sucks that they are such ***** about it; I would love to have long tubes and a catless H myself. Actually, I thought long and hard about it but the fines are ridiculous (like $10,000) and they can take your freakin' car for cat violations! Not worth it IMHO.
