Default Best CA Legal Exhaust Setup?

Subject pretty much says it all I would prefer and H pipe because I do prefer the deeper tone sounds more like "Muscle" to me which is why I chose the mustang its a freaking beast and it deserves to sound like one.

I am not sure which ones are illegal in ca because of noise ordnance. I know Borla/FRPP stingers are illegal here in CA. I would assume Pypes muffler delete, SLP Loudmouths and Boomtubes to be illegal. I would look at Magnapacks. I have these on my car and they sound awesome. I really doubt they are illegal. I have driven next to cops a few times. Here is video of my car on a dyno.

Not sure about the MRT. I think CA is pretty strict when it comes to cats. Stock Cats and Pypes midmuffler also sounds good. Although in other forums people didn't like them because of the fitment. Also another person replaced his midmufflers with Bassani Street and was glad he did. He said the Bassani, which is another good choice, sounded much better than the pypes midmufflers.

I think any straight thru mufflers are frowned upon in CA.

Dosent CA require you to keep the stock cats? I thought even aftermarket ones were banned.

No after market cats but they can easily be swapped out for smog

He said the pypes sounded like they came from K-Mart compared to the Bassani Race exhaust.
