I've been experimenting a lot with tires (26" ET Streets, 26" and 27" ET Street radials, 28" M&H drag radials), tire pressures and rear drag shock settings. With any 26 or 27" tire I can get consistent mid 1.6x 60foots if I heat the hell out of the tires and launch at 5000-6000rpm. But with 4.10 gears, once I'm launching and moving 2nd is THERE and it's hard to nail it dead on and fast. I'm getting there. Here's a launch at 5500 and I jump out of the hole, but just listen to that lame 1-2 transition. Think this was a 12.71 run, not near my fastest...

If you go to the 9:00 mark thats my launch at 5500 rpms and it looks good at first but then it all goes to hell.
