Default Car just shuts down during driving! Help

Hey Guys,

I just had my Borla LT Headers, O/R X-pipe, Catback Exhaust installed.
Uploaded my 87 brenspeed tune (for the exhaust system) and everything was running fine.
I immediatly set-up a race with a guy that used to beat me by just half a car length, i was at his door back then, we raced again and i ended up beating him and 1 to 2 car lenghts (JDM Toyota Supra Twinturbo fully stock except for wheels, has smaller turbo's and injectors than USDM version, runs 13.8 in the 1/4mile).

Got the car back from the shop on monday, was out driving around town saturday night, when i was on the phone cruising slowly at about 40km/h and suddenly i see the ignition light turn on, i check the gas/brakes/steering quick but nothing was working.
Luckily it was just dead on the street with no one in sight so i just pulled the e-brake, car slipped and i ended up with my nose on the other side of the road.

I put her in park and fired her up and she started immediatly as if nothing ever happend.
Pulled to the side and checked the battery and everything seemed ok,

I'm taking her to my mechanic tommorow for a check-up but in the mean time, do you guys have any idea what could be the problem? (no check engine or anything )

Check all your grounding cables esp. the ones around your computer. I had a lose wir that drove me crazy causing mine to cut off. then fire back up and finally it got real bad and would only run for 1 to 2 seconds
Strange but this night help you.

Mine has done this a couple times as well. No way to know what it is unless the condition can be reproduced at will, or if it wont start back up. The cause for 1 random stall wont be found.
Some people are of the mindset that a shop can "hook up a computer to the car and see whats wrong with it". Unless the check engine light is on, you will probably be told, "Sorry sir, we cant find anything wrong with your car". The problem will literally have to be close to what ybnormal said his was doing, in order to find it.

ECU, possibly. Alternator, no.

Mine will shut off too, if I am driving down the road with the cruise control on, if I try to go faster using the cruise control button.. It will just shut the F**K off... I still haven't found out why it dose it.

Yea definitely check that ground on the motor mount, especially if you installed headers or had them installed, its easy to forget it.

If this happens a lot you should probably get it checked out sooner rather than later.
