Thanks for sharing your opinion, but why do you think the MGW is better ?

better looking ? better shifting ? easier setup ?

I would have to answer yes to all your questions. You can choose from a few different ***** which I think all look better than the Hurst, although I know many like the classic look of the Hurst. It is made of better quality material and the shifts are much smoother especially from 2nd to 3rd which is always a big issue. The install on both are easy I have no installation experience and I installed mine with no trouble whatsoever. Also the Hurst is known to make noise at time and I so far have never heard a sound out of mine. The MGW also comes with dynomat to dampen any vibrations and sounds, but the Hurst may come with the same I don't know.

I've tried both and definitely prefer the MGW by far, but it always comes down to personal feel so I'm sure you will be happy either way.

You can only buy the MGW shifter from them directly.

http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_2005-present.shtml

There you go.

And I can add that its a great shifter, havent tried the hurst more then a few moments but I love the MGW in my car. Very easy install, did it myself and I know absolutly nothing about cars.

I agree that the MGW have a better looking. I don't know if the sound and thermal deflection technology is very usefull but ...

Could you explain me what "Adjustable stop kit for shifter " is ? I don't understand ...

Just for make you smile (or cry), do you know the price of a used Mustang GT in France ?

That adjustable stop kit isnt something you need, I spoke to the support people on MGW but I do not exactly remember what they told me except for it being not needed, beacuse the MGW wont brake anyway.

So dont buy it, not needed.

I would guess that you pay around 30-40k Euro for a car with about 30000 kilometers on it, am I about right?

Yeah that's right ! (did you search on french internet website ? )

It's crazy but we have to add the shipping cost to here, the 29,6% of taxe and the cost of administrative stuff to be able to have the "carte grise" (our Title).

In France, a Mustang, even the V6, it's an "exotic car", everyone want to take a picture When I told them the real price in the USA ... 20k$ - 14k€, they don't believe me !

Thanks for the info about the stop kit.

we have to pay 10% in customs payments then 25% ontop of that cost and the shipping cost of course, in taxes. so we are about the same price.
