Installing mods this week

Well its all on and it sounds badass! I ordered the gaskets from jegs, they're bbk. I ended up switching the forty mm bolts for fifty on the motor mounts. I really love the more solid motor mounts, the shifts are even better now. There is no way I could describe how good it sounds with this combination. Thanks for the help everybody.

Damn, love those headers! Nice pic
Have fun on all the installs, but as for the tune, you most definitely need re- tuning, and there's an extra concern with ARH headers: The ARH LT's are real long, longer than Kooks, for example, and the O2 sensor locations are more downstream, away from the engine versus the other brands. The ARH's tend to throw a code if not tuned right because of this. Since the O2 sensors are further away, they will not be heated quite enough, so the tune must require that the O2 sensor heaters be switched on all the time to compensate, not just on startup. The downside is that the sensors will have to be replaced about every year to year and a half, they won't last. I don't speak from experience, but I was told this by a nationally known tuner, when I was inquiring about using ARH LT headers, which was my first choice. I think I'll use Kooks now, replacing the sensors is no big deal, but I just don't want to be bothered. Otherwise, I would've used ARH, they are the best, period, with Kooks as a close second. Ask any Corvette (C5/C6)owners, the vast majority use either ARH or Kooks
Let us know how she runs!
