Default Installing mods this week

Going to be installing my new American Racing headers along with pypes mid-mufflers. Also spydershaft aluminum driveshaft and prothane engine mounts. So my question is does anybody know the length of the cap screws that are usually included with the engine mounts as the kit I received was missing the hardware. I got some bolts from work but I think they're too short, they are 10x40mm. Another question is do I need to re tune because of the long tubes. Any and all help is appreciated.

Sorry but I cant remember How long the bolts are. Were you missing all the bolts?
Nice looking headers.... I am pretty sure you will need to retune for these, they say the AR headers put sensors a lil further back sometimes causing a code to be thrown at you plus you will pick up some power with the tune.
I am waiting on my AR headers to come in now and have a dyno and tune to follow. If you are going to install and af guage you might want to get the plug (bung )welded in before hand. Hope you gota lift.
I am at work right now so tommorrow after I wake up I will check the lengths for you. I had pro. engine mounts also. Good luck to you fellow 07 vista man

Any clue how much HP those headers add? I was looking into getting them during this winter but I bought a new house so I cant swing the money now.......I will wait until the spring to pick them up.

just did my JBA LTs myself yesterday not sure what the size was on the bolts but i used a 13mm socket to get them in if thats any help. i have some left over i will try to finf them i think they might be at friends house still. also you should get some lock washers so you can evenly tighten. are you doing it yourself? if not you should its not that bad, PM with any questions.

ybnormal; Yes I got the kit with just mounts, nothing else was in the box. I figured no big deal I can just get the hardware at work. I was hoping someone who has a kit in the box waiting to be installed could measure the bolts and let me know how long they are.

matt07gt; I don't believe they add a significant amount of HP without supporting mods, such as FI.

Redsox401; Yeah I hopefully can get her on a lift to do the install, my bro is gonna help with it so it shouldn't be too bad.

Oh and I already have Stage8 locking header bolts so that's already covered. Thanks guys for the help so far.
I still need to know the length of the bolts for the motor mounts so here's hoping that someone who can shed some light sees this.

Did you get the instructions not that its that complicated the center bolts are about 1 1/2 socket head with washerand they get torqued to 30 ft/lbs watcjh out for the ground to the pass side motor mount. Ive got my sheet of paper for the bullet motor mounts.
I do remember needing about a 3 foot extension and a univ joint to get to some of the bolts. reuse the 2 bolts holding the old motor mounts down. use a phone book or block of wood for jacking the motor up. Good luck and dont bruise to many knuckles.

Thanks ybnormal that was what I was looking for. The missing hardware from the motor mounts doesn't seem like that big of a deal because I can get any bolts I might need from work and instructions are not needed. The biggest disappointment was the lack of gaskets with my headers, anyone know if they are supposed to be included. Thanks
