Default Best Tuner For the Buck

I have a 07 GT thats all stock. I am looking into getting a CAI with a tuner. Is Brenspeed the best bet? How easy is it to screw things up when changing the computer stuff? And has anyone encountered any issues after the tune? Is it wasy to switch between tunes or back to stock? Thank you

Brenspeed, Bama, VMP... all 3 are excellent, popular tune vendors. I think you'll be pleased with any of the 3. Go to their websites and look over their combos. Call them with questions.

The tunes are easy to load and change. It's all plug-n-play. It's recommended not to change the parameters unless you know what you're doing but the handheld has limited user-changeable parameters anyway. You can change a tune in less than 2 minutes. Changing back to stock (including re-installing the stock airbox) might take 15 minutes.

You should eventually get tunes from multiple places and see what you like best. I think Brenspeed rocks but I like my Bamachip's race tune much better. The throttle response is touchy as crap, which I like, and the acceleration to me feels better. But that's just my preference on how I like the car to act. What feels better to me may not feel better to someone else.

if you want the intake/tuner/tune package, they're around $600. if you already have a flash tuner, it's usually $75 per tune or $125 per 3 tunes i think...

I think Bama's tunes are $50 for a single, unless they went up.

Default CIA and Dyno tune

My recommendation would be to get a good CAI (there are many out there) and then get a custom dyno tune. The other email tunes are okay but if you get a custom dyno tune you'll really notice a difference. Don't waste your time and money buying all different tunes like I did. You really don't know the true performance of these tunes unless you get a dyno run.
