FRPP "hot rod" cams
#71
When I heard there was a non-phaser locked, frpp designed cam that used the stock valvetrain I threw my hat in the ring. I'll pony up for that!
The comps may be a better option when you throw nitrous or FI into the mix and are looking for max hp, for sure. But for low investment, DD cams the FRPP's are it(for now at least).

Maybe it's that mine are older but they didn't have to put in phase limiters... So I also still have the fully functioning variable timing....
I think Comp must have started that with the thumpers or some of the newer cams....

[QUOTE=Rubrignitz;5567655]We just want to hear that sweet rump, rump, rump from our youth and smell the burnt fuel while feeling the pull of 350 naturally aspirated hp.
Like Hammeron said that is definitely what you are in for. I swear when I fired mine up for the first time I saw a spider in the corner tapping his foot and snapping his fingers. LOL I wish I could be there with you for the first start up you're going to love these cams.

The Comp Thumprs and SPR line of cams need the limiters. The SPR comp cams are the best cams for the 3v, but they'll be an expensive thing to do since they need springs. But you'll see about 60hp NA and over 70 FI.
