Default Battery question

Will removing the battery for a couple of days cause any problems with any electric components ( or anything else)?

nope. if anything, it'll reset your adaptive learning system and make the car more fun to drive once you hook it back up

I could not start the car after waiting in a parking lot for about half hour with the lights on and I thought that it was odd. The winter is coming and I want to take the battery out, bench test it at home ( timed discharge and recharge again ) and decide if I need a new one...

Yes, the battery is shot. Its the original Motorcraft BXT40R "100 month" battery. It has only been 38 ... Its down to ~15% capacity...

Motorcraft batteries suck. Another example of the lowest bidder.
