Get A Whipple Or Kenne Bell HO Kit. 6-7 grand. Run 10lbs of boost or less. You wont blow your engine and they are the best superchargers made.

1. What would be the best bang for your buck SC.(PLZ include AVG Price)

2. What other supporting mods would i need, so the the engine does not blow up.(Also would like the prices).

Thanks Josh
This is something you will need to decide for yourself, just take your time and get what fits your needs best. Everyone here has a different reason for their SC purchase.

My reasons for going with a Saleen SC were:
Like the way it looks
Make very good power on low boost (making 430+rwhp at 6psi)
There are several very good site sponsors that sell and install these units
Price is competitive with whipple, KB....
If a problem does come up there are plenty of people on this forum and others running the samething, but that holds true for most of the SC's on the market.

For supporting mod, read my sig.
For costs you probably don't really want to know, but I will tell you it ain't cheap. And the SC is just 1 of several things will need or what to get once you get started.

Depends if your installing it yourself or paying someone. Most shops want a sht load of money to install the Vortech as compared to a Kenne or Whipple.

The best bang for the buck will be the tune. All s/c will blow the motor if the tune is crap. Regardless which s/c you go with, make 100% sure the tune is from a reputable tuner that knows the S197 computer like the back of their hand.
