Default pypes splice in X

hey guys, bought the pypes splice in x pipe from brenspeed this weekend, and im pumped about getting it on. I did search and couldnt find anything on this particular part. The only thing I came up with is the off road x / h pipes. My question is will I get a little more power up top but lose some low end torque ? And like always... will there be a sound difference ? Only thing I have done exhaust wise are the mac ax-backs. (this pipe keeps the stock cats) Does this splices in right before or right after the cats ?

thanks in advance

It will definitely be louder, and more raspy. That's the x splice in to keep the cats, right?

This was my first thought.. I am not a big fan of the mac mufflers with an x pipe. I heard it with offroad pipes, maybe it will sound better with cats..

generally x pipes are for non chamberd muffs like either straight pipes or glass packs. ie my pypes mid muffs but you will get a bit more raspy and more power BIT of power but that being said thats for non chamberds i dont know how its gonna act with your set up

got the pipe in, didnt have to cut anything, not a very noticeable difference in sound at idle or start... only when its reved up. couldnt really get on it due to weather conditions at this time, but i do have a question for you experts... the instructions that came with the pipe, available thru this site
update saturday 10/25

http://pysales.com/inst/XFM43-44%20instructions.pdf

show exactly how i have it installed.... but where the pipe x's (crosses) , pypes has a little "brand stamp" that says pypes with a direction of flow arrow...pointing to the front of the car... but i have it installed as shown in the picture..
whats the deal ??
