Centri's are difficult to tune because of their design so if you get one be sure to get a bigger aftercooler, resovior etc.. to protect your investment. My car as it sits runs consistant 11.7's and I have a few more mods to add.... I would do my research if I were you and find what is most comfortable with you and what best suits your plans for your car...
I have never heard of the centris being hard to tune on the s197's. Have you tried to tune a centri on a s197? Are you a tuner? Where did you get this info?

Stolen, broken, or INCOMPLETE.
I sell Prochargers. They are sold 2 ways. Tuner kits, and complete kits. Tuner kits are without intercoolers, fuel pumps, injectors, and hand held tuner.
Complete is pretty much self explanatory.

No problems tuning a centrifugal S/C. Maybe lack of adequate training/experience is how the myth got started. A tuned car is only as good as the person tuning it.

Default Magnacharger

I agree, it's a personal choice with everyone. I personally like my Magnacharger. I have control arms on order from J & M Products. I need something to help with tire hop. Not sure yet about a sway bar...

I'd say call that fool with his 3500$ offer... Get the best deal you can get.

If it comes down to preference thou, I mean cmon. Kenne Bell 2.6L (850rwhp potential). It's not a hard choice.....

just finished my K/B install 2 days ago, and love it. the instructions are so detailed anyone can install on their own. the car makes mad power, and the polished version is $500.00 cheaper than the whipple, stay away from magnacharger its a root's style blower.
