Which Supercharger? And How to Prep
Hey guys! I'm planning on gettin a supercharger within about six months, and I'm wondering what I should go with. I always hear that the kenne belles and whipples are the best, but I've been looking at the procharger as well. I was also thinking I should probably upgrade the suspension and get some control arms as well before I get the sc. What do you guys think? And if you all know anywhere I could get a good deal on the suspension, control arms, or a sc let me know. Thanks!

i'm not s/c, but kb's and whipples seem to be the top choice around here (between the two, i would probably pick the whipple). saleen's s/c is pretty good too, from what i hear, and (if you haven't seen it yet) they just released a 'shaker' attachment for their s/c which can yield up to 700 hp. as far as suspension upgrades go, i have no idea, but it probably wouldn't hurt to upgrade some parts if you go s/c, especially control arms

asking which S/C is like asking about intake/tune package or which exhaust is better... everyone is gonna give you their personal input on what they think is the best, and ill start... im going to go with the 2.6L twin screw KB down the road. Upgrading your suspension is never a bad choice either. Either way you look at it, whatever set up you go with, you should be happy with the power you get!

Honestly it's all preferance. as far as centri's go I'd say get an f1 procharger, twin screws...whipple HO because it is a complete kit with better compressors, or turbo it. KB is a good kit but $ for $ the whipple has become a viable otion over the last year or so, prior to that KB ruled the screw type s/c's.. Centri's are difficult to tune because of their design so if you get one be sure to get a bigger aftercooler, resovior etc.. to protect your investment. My car as it sits runs consistant 11.7's and I have a few more mods to add.... I would do my research if I were you and find what is most comfortable with you and what best suits your plans for your car...
