Default oil change on the whipple

i know it says oil change at 100k miles, but mine is not a DD. my stang is almost 2 years old and has 7k miles, maybe 2000 on the SC. so what is a realistic time to change the oil? how often do you guys plan on changing your oil?

When I talked to the whipple guys- and I bought mine directly from them, they said 100K, then said- or "whenever the oil changes color (brown)"

So that is what I am going by- rather than the milage. I am assuming you have a sight glass on yours. If not, then....? If I did not have a sight glass to monitor- I would do it every 2 years regardless of (not excessive) milage.

my .02

Cheers

I haven't changed mine. 12,000 miles on the blower and a little over 1 year. Mine is still clear.

i believe it is on the top of the compressor near the front, in line with the sight glass.
you can suctiion it out or use a squeeze bottle trigger.
