get the version that comes with the FRPP
pro cal tool.

i am running the frpp tune currently and it's a perfect
tune for a daily driver.

I thought you got a dyno tune?

I've been using the frpp tune since August of last year. It works great, I have no complaints.

Hammeron you're too damn cryptic all the time, lol. Did the cams give you trouble?

Anyway, I switch back and forth between the FRPP pro-cal tune and a Brenspeed SCT2 tune. The FRPP tune made 465rwhp, and I'm planning on getting the Brenspeed tune dyno'd as soon as possible. Both tunes are very streetable.

niner, the cams were great but i wasn't
completely satisfied with the tunes that
were created for me. i'll rejoin the HR club
when tunes get perfected.

I have the Whipple tune- sent my ECU had it back the day after I sent it.

I have nothing to compare it to- mustang wise.

I told the guys at Whipple that I was astonished that the tune was perfect- I mean flawless at all throttle positoins under any load- you always felt you were getting the maximum out of the throttle.

The Whipple guy said "he would pass that along" - that the program guy "was a Ford guyru hired away from MI to sunny CA".

So FWIW- I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I have the frpp pro-cal tool on mine (whipple HO) it runs ok but, it was pinging at higher rpms had it checked and it over heated my plugs (HT0) and none of them are gapped the same right now due to them getting so hot. It was pushing 460 rwhp but it just didnt sound right with the pinging. I have talked to ford racing about the problem and they couldnt figure it out why it was doing it. I now have to wait unit I get back from deployment to fix it. Going to take it to SW dyno shop in OKC and have them install a good tune on it so it dont overheat the plugs again. But I still wouldnt change my whipple for anything else.

hey Roger, something to consider is
maybe you have a small vacuum leak
somewhere and it's letting in some
unmetered air.

the usual places are:

the hose from the
passenger side cam cover to the air intake

the throttle body and air intake rubber
connections...
