Power shifting will kill your synchros, plenty on here have lost 3rd gear by power shifting. You don't need 3rd gear to get home though. If you lose 2nd or 4th, then you're still good to go. Luckily you can't power shift 1st, you need 1st, unless you still have 2nd, lol!

I'll try powershifting when I get a gt500 transmission.

$3k hahaha. I got mine used with driveshaft, crossmember, shifter, shift stick and **** for $1,700 shipped.

IMO if you can't find a used one under $2k then just get a new one. I've had junkyards quote me $2,800 for a used one and I just laughed in their face.

DUDES THIS IS FU(KING RETARDED. I'M GONNA THROW THIS OUT THERE. I JUST GOT QUOTED $2400 FOR THIS ****. THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS SHOULD COST THAT MUCH. WE ALL SEE THE PICTURES, ITS A BROKEN INPUT SHAFT. I MIGHT AS WELL BUY A GT500 TRANS LIKE YOU ARE ALL SAYING. IS IT DIRECT BOLT ON TO A 11" CLUTCH DISC?
