Default Driveshaft Vibration

I just installed an aluminum driveshaft in my '06 GT. When I accelerate hard, and let off the gas, I have a pretty good vibration in the rear of the car. I made sure everything was tight when I put the DS in. Did I miss something?? I think this is probably something easy I am overlooking. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.

Is it lowered? if so, you may need to adjust your pinion angle.

My guess would be a Spydershaft. You should contact whoever you bought it from for some possible causes/fixes.

I purchased the DS from Sutton.

The car is not lowered. The suspension is stock, except the lower control arms.

If I got the torque specs wrong, could that cause the vibration? I am going to check those today, to make sure I am good.

I ended up having my shop work on mine 3 times before getting it to work. The final fix came when I upgraded my suspension and they set the pinion angle and now there are no issues. Of course mine is lowered and I bought a 4" driveshaft which if I had to do it again would have done the 3,5" for clearance.

You can check run out of the driveshaft with the car on a lift. If run out is excessive you'll have to take it to a driveshaft shop to get it fixed.

After: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOF31...eature=channel

You also need to check your pinion flange nut and make sure it hasn't loosened. Also if you over tightened the flange nut you could tear up your pinion bearing.

Any of the above will cause vibration.

If the vibration is only when you let off the gas, then you need to raise the pinion upward. When accelerating the pinion will raise upward slightly and when you let off the gas it moves downward.
