Cricket in my AC

Why does my car sound like there is a cricket in it whenever I turn on the Air conditioner or Vent? The noise stops immediately after I turn the AC off. It's annoying as hell.

had this happen to me in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Sounds like you might need a new fan, or the fan itself is hitting something, maybe some insulation??
