Default suspension question

i do drag race and i here how alot of people are changing there suspenion. i dont have any wheel hop and my question is do i need to change my susp.? will it lower my et's even tho the car comes out of the hole good with just m/t 's? iit is my dd and i dont want to hurt the smoothness of the stock susp.

i have 420hp/405tq and i run 11.8'and up to 118 mph. i upgraded to the 3.0 pulley and added the supershaker so i am trying to prepare myself for next season.

No e.t. drop unless you do an entire drag suspension. If you're car comes out of the hole good, no tire spin and you can leave at good RPM then there is no need to change the suspension. They only reason to change to a drag set up would be to be able to leave the hole at a much higher RPM, eventually your stock suspension will run out of grip the more power you add.

Just curious, did you get forged internals before you upgraded to Brenspeed's stage 4? I worry about your engine over suspension.
