I have a '06 GT with a 2.3L Whipple that is running at 12 psi. It is an autotransmission and have beat the crap out of it at the track. I am putting down 506 rwhp and 530rwtq on a Mustang Dyno. I can post the scan of the dyno sheet if you do not believe me. Last Friday at Immokallee Regional Raceway I ran had this time slip in the 1/8 mile:

.7519 RT
1.7465 60 ft
4.9130 330 tf
7.5776 1/8 et
91.67 1/8 MPH

Everything on my car is stock other than the Whipple kit.

Wes from www.powerhouserp.com has tuned my car to make it a Z06 killer!!!!!!

what's your 1/4 mile time?

cool to see that you are all stock other then the whipple... that's a ton of hp to the wheels.

I live in Naples and the closest 1/4 tracks are in Bradenton or Miami so I have never run a 1/4. I plan on going to one or the other soon to see what I can do.

I forgot to add that I have Mickey Thompson Drag Radials on when I run. Other than the Whipple kit everything else is bone stock.

I don't want to seem like a spammer but if you are in SW FLA and don't have a guy please click on the link I posted and you will not be disappointed with the service.

Guy who bought my Procharger blew his automatic transmission at 440 rwhp. Friend who is running about 10 lbs on a turbo lost his clutch about three weeks ago and then his motor let go, two weeks back. Another bud with a supercharger, also at about 510 rwhp lost a clutch and then his rearend a few weeks back.

Even fully built motors are not immune from trouble. Our car split its oil pump in two about 3 weeks ago, and blew a head gasket 2 weeks ago, at 27 lbs of boost...we were sure intake manifold was going to pop first....lol

yea, its a lot less wear and tear on your transmission. I manually shift into 3rd, stomp on it, go to redline, put it in drive (without O/D), redline again and then put in OD. I've heard a lot of guy's burning 3rd gear from stomping on the gas from a 60 mph roll. It won't happened on the first or second try...but it will eventually cut down the life of your tranny.
