Of course there is an advantage to run CMCV delete plates, on any motor removing air restriction makes power...they did on my car. You need a tune for CMCV deletes the motor needs to be turned off and the timing needs to be adjusted when they are removed.

Its recomended to use CMDP with a centri or turbo, to avoid a malfunction of the stock plates under high air preassure. If one of the plates dont turn when the engine needs air it may cause engine failure.

You can use the CMDP with no tune BUT the car will be much more slow and a ton less responsive, we añready tried this in a friends GT. So theres no point in doing this.

i have them for my motor build but not on yet. i had them on when i was n/a. you can tell in the top end and in the botom end there was no loss of power. i highly recamend them. it is an easy bolt on. i have taken my intake mani. off about 10 times or so. i think it is 5 bolts on each side and 2 screws that go into the moni. dont forget the ones under the fuel cross over line. i can usually do this in about 25-30 min and have it back on the car.
