I might be picking up a 05-07 gt. Just wondering how are the interiors compared to the 99-04 body. Are there a lot of rattles?

I dont hear much other then road noise and engine. im sure i could reduce both if i really wanted to.

There are some rattles in the s197. I've got one in the driver's side door. Also one coming out of the rear that sounds like metal tapping on glass.

We have an 03 Mach1 and an 07 GT/CS. The 07 is appreciably more refined and isolated. Neither has any interior rattles to speak of. The Mach1 has a more visceral, raw feel to it while the 07 is a smoother driver.

I have been through many offroad and catted pipes so yeah, I get some rattles from time to time...I think when you make the exhaust louder, over time you can't excape the occasional rattle and vibrate...

I've got an occasional dash rattle that I haven't bothered to track down. The window switch bezel on the drivers side used to vibrate, but I took it off and tucked some foam underneath to silence it. Other than that - just exhaust and road noise from tires. But you never hear that when the sterio is cranked up!
